Join Storrowton Village Museum on August 3th from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm for Family Camp Day! For over 30 years, Storrowton Village has hosted the Early American Summer Days youth camp program. To kick off the 2026 summer program, Storrowton Village invites the whole family to come enjoy an afternoon at summer camp.
Schedule:
11:30am Arrive & visit the ESE History Museum
11:50am Song & dance performance with the Musical Theater Dance Group
12:30pm Picnic on the Village Green - lunch provided for all children registered in advance
1-2:30pm Play games on the green and tour the museum to do some hands-on activities along the way
Families will have the opportunity to jump back into the 19th century and participate in hoop and sack races. Throughout the afternoon, families will be able to tour the Eastern States Exposition History Museum, tour the Village’s historic buildings, and take part in iconic crafts. Lunch will be provided by the West Springfield Nutrition Program for all children under 18 registered in advance for the program. Adults are encouraged to bring their own lunch to picnic on the green with other families.
Lunch menu for children under 18: Turkey sandwich or sunbutter sandwich with cheese stick. All lunches include vegetable, fruit, 8 ox milk, and chips. (Menu subject to change without notice.)
Family Camp Day is a rain or shine event, and will only be canceled in the event of severe weather.
Family Camp Day is included with Early American Summer Days registration for each enrolled child and one additional guest (at least one guest must be an adult). Additional tickets or tickets for those not participating in EASD are $7 per person in advance; on the day of the event tickets are $10 per person.
