Inspired by Helen O. Storrow's belief in the potential of young people, Helen's Hearth invites students who have completed grades 5-8 to gather around the traditions of the past to build the confidence, character, and life skills they need for the future. Through hands-on living history, open-hearth cooking, teamwork, and leadership activities, participants discover that some of life's most valuable lessons are timeless.
9am - Daily check-in

Helen O. Storrow was a strong advocate for youth development, civic responsibility, and leadership opportunities, particularly through her longstanding support of organizations like the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and other educational initiatives. The Helen's Hearth Program seeks to engage emerging leaders with Storrow's philosophy of helping young people become capable, engaged citizens.
*On the final day of the program family and friends are invited to visit the Village for an end of program celebration at 2:15pm.
