TOURS & SPECIAL EVENTS AT STORROWTON

For over four decades, Storrowton Village Museum has been specializing in experiential learning for school children, hands-on experiences for families, and making the 19th century relevant in the present culture. Our Educational Programs feature hands-on 19th century activities that visitors wouldn’t otherwise get the opportunity to experience in our non-stop, plugged-in world: open hearth cooking, writing with quill pens and on slates, apprenticing in the blacksmith shop and much more.

Storrowton offers museum tours to the general public on most Fridays March - May and Tuesdays - Fridays in June and July. Other days and times of the year by appointment. If no available tour dates are listed here please e-mail Storrow@TheBigE.com or call 413.205.5051 for availability.

Annual Special Events include:
Maple Harvest Day
Blacksmith Collective
Juneteenth Speaker Series
Ghost Tours
History & Harvest
Yuletide at Storrowton

SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS & MUSEUM OUTREACH

Storrowton offers schools field trips and museum outreach to deliver presentations on a specific historical era or specialized topic at your site. Museum staff will develop and present a glimpse into the past, accompanied by authentic artifacts relevant to the presentation.
