Built in 1810 in the Federal Style, Storrowton Village’s Law Office once housed the practice of Zachariah Eddy.
Mr. Eddy was a prominent attorney in Middleboro, Mass., in the early 19th century. This office was the center of his legal work and a hot-bed of political and religious discussions.
The Eddy Law Office was sold to Helen Storrow in 1929. The office was originally located beside the Eddy home and was built on land which had been in the possession of the family since 1661.
The unique feature of this small building is its arched, copper roof. It may be the only existing example of this style of construction.
